Pre-1904 Gutty Era 4-Club Set – Smooth Face Irons

A  pre-1904 gutty era short set featuring Three smooth face irons and a brass putter built for the gutta-percha ball. These clubs predate the Haskell rubber-core ball revolution, making them true relics of golf's earliest competitive era. All four clubs are right-handed and ready for gutty ball play.

Historic Club Details:

- Cleek: 40 inches, 18 degrees loft — the long iron of the gutty era
 - Mashie Iron: J & A Simpson, 38 inches, 28 degrees loft — a respected Carnoustie maker
- Lofter: 38.5 inches, 43 degrees loft — the scoring club for approach shots
- Putter: Brass head N.Y.S.G. Co. NASSAU — classic putting style
- Era: Pre-1904 (gutty ball period)
- Face: Smooth face on all irons (pre-scoring line era)
- Hand: Right-handed

This set is for gutty ball play. J & A Simpson of Carnoustie were among Scotland's finest clubmakers and the irons are tournament-ready.
